I blinked. My eyes began focusing on shapes. I could hear murmuring voices. I could smell medication. I could taste blood. I could feel scratchy blankets lying over my frail body. Tubes were threaded through my arms and other areas of my stomach. I was suddenly very aware of the amount of pain I was in. I cried out in pain and all three people turned to me. The middle one lurched forwards and took a needle from the side. The other two fussed around me, rethreading the tubes and checking that they were all fully functional. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." Upon seeing this, the boy opened it and took a few sips of water. "Thank you. For the water." The savior smiled. "It's nothing much." He shrugged. "Have a phone? "I'll try..." I respond, but as I blink he has disappeared and my door is closed. I look at the window as I notice it's covered in bars. Outside is my fear, my fear of being seen. As I look far in the woods I see him again. He moved his lips as I read them. He said something like 'wait for me, and I'll see you' I think. I grab the note, while lowering my gun. I look up only to find the man gone. I unfold the paper. It's hard to make out the words in red ink with the dim lighting of the sewer tunnel. Eventually, I'm able to decipher, "34.0522' N, 118.2437' W". Coordinates. At the bottom of the note, scribbled out in black in, there's one phrase.
