My name is Kennedy Curry, but people call me KK. I live in a small house in Hudson Texas with my mom Keri Curry and my big brother Kayden Curry. We have been living here ever since my dad died. I was only three years old and Kayden was only five years old. Mom had two jobs back in LA. When we were little I saw how she was struggling trying to make a better living for me and my brother, I saw how she had to wake up early mornings and leave late nights just to provide for us. Everyday I looked out the window and watched as our mother left and I would tell myself “When I grow up I hope I don't have to be like mom”. Kayden always hugged me after I watched mom leave for her night shift, he has always been a good comforting big brother. Now i'm 15 with a baby on the way now I can really see myself following my mom's foot steps now that i’m pregnant and still in school.
