She could be a model if she wanted to. The only problem would be her attitude. What, with her silky black hair with the neon green tips, that aren’t fact, even if no one believes her about it. Maybe it’s the hard grey eyes that make people avoid her? While hanging out with her best friend, Lillian, she acts like the geeky girl she really is. But when Lillian is at her school, across town, and Rikki is at hers, Rikki’s badass loner type emerges, making her untouchable.
Rikki lives alone, only with her mother for comfort. Rikki lives a hard life for a 16 year old girl. She had an accident when she was a baby, so now she can’t remember anything before her third birthday. She has a scar from it, a nice long one across her back. Never knew her father. Well, perhaps she did, once, but the memories are long gone. There was always something bother Rikki, always nagging at her in the back of her mind. She brushed it off, of course.
