A Fighting Chance

Dodging the passing trees Kai ran as fast as he could, his spiked blonde hair flowing in the wind behind him. They were on his tail (literally) and he just couldn't run fast enough. Well, they had been trained for these types of things, chasing away what are apparently intruders. He should of known that he would get caught! But whatever happened to, "you are a trained assassin now Kai, you are sneaky and have quick hands." , Luca was wrong, he had quick feet, not hands. He should of gone for the above entrance and snuck past the ninja instead of attempting to pick the lock.

Meet Kai the idiotic main character of this story. Expect him to be a mix of Naruto and Black star from two popular anime series'.

A sharp pain shot up his back as the ninja stabbed his golden tail. "Owww" he yelped, in pain. "Why did you have to use the scythe Luca?"

A Fighting Chance is a story about a young boy that Vows to fufill his dream of some day becoming a trained assassin, working as the king's protector. On his way he meets groups of trained professionals; bewitching women who are trained to seduce and assassinate men; fawness - people who have some part of an animal inside of them that they can use to their advantage such as cat ears that help to have amazing hearing.
