JJ Thompson doesn't have it easy. Some days she'd rather die than keep living her hellish life. Unable to take another night in a place filled with her tear-soaked memories, she finally decides to take some control over her life and flees to live with her sister in Westport, California. With a new life at a new school, she tries to escape her haunting memories and have a fresh start. While in Westport, she reunites with her best friend from when she was a little kid, who now just so happens to be a smoking hot quarterback, and the school golden boy. Can she navigate school, love, rivals, and running from her past, all by herself? Or maybe her cute new neighbor can help her... One thing is for sure: growing her wings was going to be much harder than JJ thought.

Heeeeeey, so this is just a random story that I thought up one night, and this is the first draft, so no hating please!! I'm trying to not have it be too predictable and cliché, but it can't really be avoided. I will edit once the story is completed. Please give this story a chance!!
