In the story Tris Prior goes to Divergent high school. When suddenly a new boy named Four comes to the school. Will she fall for him or hate him? Will Four be able to save Tris? This is the second book of I am dauntless tetralogy. Jade made it through initiation, so did Four. But they are not as close as they were at the beginning. Both have drifted apart into their own life's at dauntless. Jade is with Eric. They both take leadership at dauntless as Jade also trains initiates seasonally. Two years have passed and a new Stiff catches Jade's eye. She notice something different with Four, he comes around as you both train the initiates. But so does the new stiff. What happens when dauntless teams up with erudite to get rid of all divergent? The new stiff is actually a divergent. Will Jade help the divergent and go against Eric or will she create crimes of killing innocent people?

This is a backstory for Eric. I've taken bits and pieces from the Divergent series and also the movie. I also used the book about Four that recently came out. It takes you through his journey through initiation on in to leadership. He also develops a love interest that isn't in either the books or the movie.
