Lilith (Lily) is Markl's older sister. She went to Madame Suliman's and became a pupil for her, just when Howl had done the same thing at the same time. Lilith had helped Howl with the castle he had planned to build. When Howl and Lilith finished being Madame Suliman's pupils, they spent 5 years being normal people. They had two shops, which were portals. On Markl's 7th birthday, Lilith asked Howl if he would take Markl under his wing and make Markl his pupil. Here's their story.
