Sam Mackenzie is a fiercely independent woman who runs away when things get too serious with David, who was only supposed to be a casual fling. Now she's messed everything up so she grabs the next train to her mother's.
Unluckily for Sam, the train crashes. Stuck in the middle of a Welsh valley with only a handful of others, Sam discovers there are no bodies, no sign of rescue and the valley seems surrounded by an invisible barrier nothing can cross safely. Add the fact that the group all share the same nightmare every night and Sam is starting to think this place isn't quite what it appears.
The survivors must figure out a way to get home again, but they are all hiding something and not everyone will be strong enough to face their fears and discover the truth behind the valley's secrets.
