Soo, this mainly applies to Fairy Tail OCs. However, these tips can be used for any OC, regardless of the anime. I've kind of created this because I DO enjoy reading Fairy Tail OC stories, but I occasionally tend to lose interest in the plot or the character. Please don't take any offense from this. If you write because you want reads, I'm merely trying to help you with entertaining your readers. Please keep in mind, this is entirely based off a group of the opinions of people I know and the opinions I've formed on my own. Just remember, I'm only trying to give help.

All For You is a fanfiction I made of Tamaki and an Original Character of mine! So it's not a reader insert, but trust. Trust me. Just trust, you might love it anyway. - - Is it cliche to think that there really is someone that's the one and only for you? Maybe not specifically out of billions of people, but maybe there's someone in the world that's just naturally perfect for you! How to Train Your Dragon Fanfic PREVIOUSLY KNOWN AS "For the Love of Tides" This is a character X OC story - NOT AN X READER (I know the pain of opening a story that says X reader only to find its an X OC. literally infuriating.) Some pieces of this story are pulled from the actual script of HTTYD. Mostly just action scenes and all that since I suck ass at writing action scenes. I'll be going over the chapters as time goes on to make updates and fix things. I don't always notice spelling mistakes and all that so forgive me. Also, this likely wont make sense for the time period for HTTYD but fuck you its a fanfic I can do what I want. This story came out of nowhere, just decided to write it because I was bored. I do not take credit for anything except OCs (original characters), which will be clearly labelled. I'll try to follow the original story but it is written from the point of view of an OC, so a lot of the plot should be fairly original, but I can't take credit for anything that actually happened in the show.
