Life had remained relatively simple for the human race, allowing for the civilians to live on their innocent lives. They were allowed to enjoy their ignorance, unaware of the much larger threat that loomed over them. All it took was a virus, an 'Apocalypse Virus', and ninety-percent of the world's human population was wiped away in an instant. Tears, misery, resentment, enslavement. Families were torn apart, leaving only the children remaining in the spilled blood of their parents. The ones who caused such destruction, previously thought only to appear in the nightmares of young children, were vampires. And they needed to be exterminated.
