This is a 500 word story about a dog and a boy in Herculaneum at the time of the eruption of Vesuvius. It's very short as it is for a competition but I hope you enjoy it.

Birthday on The Moon
A coming of age tale that follows Adrian as he is engrossed in his life at home his books. A 12-year-old boy that has not seen the world and wants adventure but does not dare step out the door, instead of spends his time alone, often with his dog and reads a lot. Along came his Grandpa that saw this adventurous spark in him. After setting a challenge for Adrian to prove himself he takes him on his first adventure out of the house and to Moon to help him hunt cheese with Grandpa, along with Woody, their dog. But they are on a race against time, and against nature, to get back home in time for his 13th birthday party as his parents do not fully agree with him stepping outside of the house and going on dangerous adventures. "Travel is for troublemakers" he was always told. It is a mix of Rick and Morty in a sense of character dynamics, different locations and tools used, but without the profanity. As well as a mixture of TinTin and his adventures as well as having a dog as a companion. It is also partially inspired by H.G Wells' 1901 novel 'The First Men in the Moon'. The first novel that I ever started writing. I started it in December 2019 so the title and cover are not finalised and are still in progress. ***This is the first edit after having written the draft, it is a long way from being completed or ready and I will do another revision and add more aspects of the story**Completa
I hate you (Thomas JeffersonXAlexander Hamilton)
Y'all ready for a cheezy ass summary?! Because I'm not. ---- Basically it's a modern Hamilton/Jamilton AU (wow. much original). Thomas and Alexander are roommates and Thomas gets lung cancer and shit happens. It's an emotional roller coaster so have fun. ---- I was really tempted to write something like: *insert depressing/dramatic music* What will happen when Alexander finds out his roommate and worst enemy had *pause for dramatic effect* lung cancer. *audience gasps* I am so sorry.Completa
