At age 12, I looked into a tall antique mirror- it was the first time I had a notion that my brain and my soul are separate things- Consciousness. Who is this person looking at me in the mirror? her eyes are brown, she is smiling.. why is she smiling? why is she sad? at times her eyes are empty- who is she? or who is? EPIC CONQUEST THE NOVEL tells about an event that happened hundreds of years ago there was a crack in the sky. The rift seemed to be a dimensional gate that combined this world with the demonic world. Because of that, thousands of demons have entered the human realm and mercilessly killed anything in their sight. When the Dasyhat war happened, the world made a truce and joined hands to defeat the devil's army. For the first time in history, mankind united under the banner of the Alliance. Even though decades have passed, the war between humans and demons still shows no signs of ending. Although the dimensional gates are no more, their existence seems endless due to rapid reproduction. Because of that too, the hybridization of humans and demons is inevitable. These hybrids look like normal humans but, with demonic blood flowing through their bodies cause them to have extraordinary magical powers. Their behavior is the same as normal humans. However, if their hearts are enveloped in darkness, they will turn into complete demons. Since then, magical powers were born and the royal side of the Alliance saw this group as a threat to humanity and called them witches. In order to overcome the extinction of humanity, the leadership of the Alliance created the order of the Witch Hunt to find and kill every witch no matter what they look like. Due to the order, witches rebelled to protect themselves and their loved ones until a civil war broke out. Due to the war, many lives were lost and many witches were enveloped in darkness and turned into demons. Since that day, the human race has suffered greatly. The Alliance and wizards alike consider them a threat. The hatred and revenge between them still remains to this day. With so many chains of hatred, can all humans be reunited? Can the world once again be free from chaos?

|| You probably think it was a typo in the title, but I meant to put that there for a reason || Read to find out ;) ____________________________________________________ A normal planet with a modern society, that is until 50,000 years ago, a strange meteorite crashed upon Earth and leaked its metallic liquid. The man who discovered it decided to make the metallic liquid into arrows. He then buried them underneath his homeland and in the year 2000, it was eventually discovered and monstrous beings called "Klaxosaurs" begin appearing. The arrows were a sign of hope as when exposed to the air, it chose which people to grant powers from. A visual manifestation of life energy to the user. Ordinary people cannot see it, but people who were granted with these powers can see it. It could not be harm by ordinary things, only other special people can hurt it. This was known as a Stranxx, and people who were granted these powers used it to kill the infestation of Klaxosaur. Some used it for good, some used it for bad but they didn't know that there would be a school just to train your Stranxx and fight Klaxosaurs. Thus we focus on our main protagonist, Hiro. He is Stranxxless but he has a dream, and that dream is to be known as the #1 Hero that destroys Klaxosaurs in one swoop. So he thinks that the program will help him fight the Klaxosaurs. Who knows what will happen.

Now then. You're probably wondering what this place is? To answer that, we must go to the past. 4.5 billion years in the future from our current time, Earth's sun began to expand from burning up all its fuel. Humanity, having managed to get their act together and advance space travel, avoided their extinction and evacuated the planet, feeling their solar system out unto the stars. Many years passed by in stasis and in future generations. Eventually, humanity found themselves a new home. But alas, nothing worth having is easy to keep. Extradimensional entities known as Developers, named as such due to them being the closest biological thing you could get to a genuine god, appeared in humanity's new home. With their metaphysical, reality warping abilities, they changed the world over. Combining the new planet with 3 others in such a manner that multiple dimensions and timeliness were rolled into one like a bunch of star bursts that were pressed and twisted together before being shaped into a ball. Thus, it resulted in the reality bending world named Asteria! Strap in ladies and gentlemen, this is gonna get crazy. (Author's note: There are many references to other, more familiar games, movies, books, and others. This includes character names and back stories, weapons, character abilities, and even in universe power system mechanics that resemble or are inspired by other media. Every single one of these references, allusions, and inspired aspects reserve any and all rights to the original owners. The only things that I own here are the general lore of the world.) (I will also say this is a narrative story adapted from a TTRPG campaign that I am currently running with a system I made. Players may come and go as they please, which will result in characters disappearing from the rest of the story. I'll do my best to adapt to these occurances, but chapters may have length delays between them.) (Additionally, this story will take second place on my priority list.)

If you doubt your writing skills, read this book. It'll make you feel better, trust me. I wrote this when I was in sixth grade, and now I can't even get through the first chapter without cringing. Okay, here we go: ------------- Before I tell you my story, I have something to tell you. My twin sister, Fern, and I, we are special. Not the kind of special like we are the best at an instrument or we know more facts about something than anyone else. We are so special that our connection is something that only happens every million years. we also inherited something random from our adopted mom that makes us SUPER special. To find another of us would take over a hundred-million years. You have to promise to not tell anyone though. If you do, scientists will come for us by the thousands. We would be put on public display where millions would flock around to get a mere glimpse of us and what makes us special. Scientists and genetic experts on many grounds would put us in cages. They would come and force us to be part of painful, tiring experiments. This already happened once, we don't want it to happen again. If you promise not to tell anyone, I'll tell you. Fern and I have the ability to communicate with each other and other telepathic people without moving our mouths over long distances. And... We have fire and ice powers.
