At the early age of eight, Reggie Keller started her acting career as Doogie Pie's "it girl". Wowing the studio with her unique maturity, she finished commercials in one take easily becoming the smiling face of their company brand. 
        Immediately, Reggie's parents realize her natural talent and put her through acting courses, auditions, and home schooling. Even going as far as changing her name, to one more recognizable and less boyish. 
        Eight years later, "Melody Springer" is one of the top teen actresses of her generation. 
        Starring in countless movies, modeling for magazines, and becoming every teen's idol is a lot of pressure for a sixteen year old to handle and recently Melody feels as if she's about to explode. 
        Losing her love for acting and becoming desperate to get away from her parents' controlling nature, Melody decides to ask something of her parents for the first time in years. 
      Melody Springer, teen sensation and famous actress, wants to go to public school...
      What awaits her there is the cocky, bad boy Shane Danvers. 
      The no-name boy with a troubled past, who happens to be the only student at Kidwell High that wants nothing to do with the famous Melody Springer, but everything to do with Reggie Keller. 
     But with a stalker following Melody and paparazzi on the prowl, romance is hard to come by. 
     Is love something Melody can hope for? Or will being in the spotlight keep her true feelings in the shadows?
