Amelia was between a rock and a hard place. When she was little she'd do anything for her family and she followed every word they said, now at sixteen she felt like she couldn't do anything right and wanted approval from her family. That all changed on April 24th, when her mother died and her last words being " stick close to family, they'll get you through it" but how can I get through it when its my family that causes the pain?

"I did try to ask nicely and multiple times, I might add. The time for being nice has come to an end since it doesn't seem to work with you." He passed by the table and stepped down. There weren't many places for her to hide in here but the creature did tell him Amelia came into this room. "Please come out and talk to me." He waited a beat for a response but he didn't get one. "Fine, let me tell you a story. I used to be able to see the creatures clearly but an accident happened when I was younger that damaged one of my eyes. Now they're just blurry to me. But you . . . you can see them clearly and see rare objects. I want you to join me. Be my eyes." He waited again for a few moments for a response he still didn't receive. A thought occurred to him. What if she was hoping that he'd just leave the room? He chuckled quietly to himself in amusement. "I'm not going anywhere. But you know what? It's fine if you decline my offer again. Just know that if you don't come with me, you could come home to find that your parents are dead because of a work accident or some other natural cause. You wouldn't want that would you?" He paused just one more time and began speaking again. "If you come with me today, your parents won't have to die. I can keep them safe. If you don't give me an answer, I'll have my creature kill your parents now and I'll still take you. Do you want dead parents or living parents? It's your choice." Amelia came out of the bay window seat compartment. She was trying to hide her fear and anger. She didn't care what happened to her but she didn't want her parents to die because of her. 17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body.
