Finally, Archer loudly clears his throat as he flings his door open and plops into the car with a huff, breaking the trance between the two of us. I look away as I withdraw my hand from his grasp, trying to figure out what the hell just happened. This is going to be a long 6 months. ●●● Kaiydeen has always known what she wanted, more like who, but she never knew exactly how to get it. So she's complacent with biding her time until it, actually he, comes to her; no matter how long that takes. But then one day she crashes into someone she doesn't expect. Someone that has always had an eye for her, and he isn't satisfied with biding his time until she's his. Defending Jefferson City and maintaining a normal school life as a cover can be hard, but throw in his best friend getting closer to the truth about his alter-ego's identity and a mysterious villain working from the shadows who always seems to be two steps ahead, living a double life is going to be his biggest challenge yet. Especially when new villains start crawling out of the woodwork, thirsty for a fight, and his old villains return stronger, angrier, and looking to settle a score. As Emerson starts to uncover the truth behind where all these villains are coming from, he finds that not everything is what it seems on the surface. And that he and this mysterious villain have a stronger connection than he originally thought.
