Her body collided with his in a tangle of arms and legs. She felt emotion rush through her entire being. Hatred, desire, blood lust. Emotions that were so foreign to her yet consumed her, defining the very essence of her being. She lost herself in his black eyes. Literally. All she was aware of was the darkness of his soul that stretched for miles and miles, never ending, never fading. If the girl were not so consumed she would have heard the guns and drones that were the very reason she had stumbled into the arms of a stranger, she would have heard her sister's cries of grief and remembered that she was on a quest, she would have looked down at her own to hands and realised that she had only ever sacrificed in her life and such immense feelings of hatred were beyond her capabilities. 

Reality came hurling towards her just as the angry mob had, just moments ago. As she pushed herself from the arms of the stranger she momentarily cursed her gift. The gift that gave her the ability to see within people, to the very core of their soulAll Rights Reserved
