At the age of 17, Delfena Conroy was one of the youngest figure skaters to ever master and perfect the triple axel, one of the most difficult jumps for any female figure skater to attempt. This was no surprise to anyone seeing as her mother was Olympic Gold Medalist Tracy Meade Conroy. After hearing stories about life on the competition ice from her Olympiad mother, Delfena decided at an early age that she wanted to follow in her mother's footsteps and compete amongst the best figure skaters in the world. Delfena's mother was the biggest inspiration and motivation she had and so long as she could see her mother's pearly white smile from the sidelines, Delfena knew that she could conquer anything. Her life had been figured out and skating was all she knew and, aside from her family, all she loved. That was, until the sudden dimming of the brightest light of her life. Delfena's mother was taken from her and with that, the order in her life disappeared as well. Delfena's world suddenly felt eerie. The years following, Delfena battled anxiety and depression and the only therapy she knew, skating, could not fill the dark void and giving up was all that felt possible. Fast forward to 2018 where Delfena has come to terms with reality and decided that her dreams are the only way to connect with her mother. She mustered up the courage to apply (and earn) a scholarship to Lakelen Athletic Academy where she could pursue a life that centered around her goals. Delfena lives out her dreams after moving in with her aunt across the country, but things really start to take a turn when her past begins to consume her future and the relationships she builds in the process, crumble. Will Delfena be able to handle the pressure and achieve what she strives to or will she be prone to the darkness forever? *Includes swear words, so hide your kids. *Updates every week, hopefully. *BEWARE, there are LOTS of mistakes both grammar and spelling wise, oops.

Brianna "Bree" Miller is a dancer. She dances 20 hours a week at the highest competitive level at her studio. When she's not dancing, she's on the ice at the rink playing AAA hockey on the U20 team. And get this, she's only 14. But between 40 hours a week of sports, sports, sports, Bree barely finds time to finish her homework and make it to school on time. After school ends, she's at the rink and then heading uptown to dance. By the time she gets home she's exhausted, and barely has any energy left to finish her homework. The two sports have been a part of her life for as long as Bree can remember. But in her first year of high school, juggling the sports starts to become a lot more difficult. Plus, her friends at the studio and her teammates on the ice don't get along, and hate Bree being in the company of the others. It's not as easy as it was before. She's clearly the best dancer at the studio, and the best player on the ice, which leads to jealous teammates, fights, and hurt friendships. Tournaments and competitions. Friendships crashing and burning. Betrayals and jealousy. Add the pressure of being a freshman to the mix, and you've got a recipe for disaster. Will Bree be able to turn her life around? Will she be forced to give up one of the sports she loves? Can a devastating action be turned into a life-changing decision? And what happens when one of her friends decides to take matters into her own hands?
