Her Secrets

*I wrote this book when I was 14 years old. Even though I just re-published the book I have not changed or updated it. My writing has grown in the past 8 years and it thrills me to see my first book. It's almost like a historical piece of artificat so I don't want to touch it but I hope some of you enjoy it (even though it's horrible lol) *

Poppy was broken. She spent lonesome nights hiding under her bed. Allergies developed from her poorly made room. But she never complained. Not while He snatched her hard-earned money right from her pockets and spent it on booze and new furniture. Not while struggling to stay upright as He feast on the food she prepared solely for him. She knew her place, the aggressive hand marks that grip her neck prove so.

Although he had control over her body, not her mind. Because she had secrets and those were enough to keep her hope alive.

Silus was a sweetheart. Keyword was. Ever since his younger brother died in a rogue attacked his faith in humanity demise. Not to mention the person leading the attack was his very own uncle who was jealous for not being made alpha.

Silus often seems cold and distant but things take a turn when the new girl arrives. He wasn't sure if his interest in her was because she was his possible future mate. Or, because her scared distant eyes carried secrets. Either way, he made it his mission to get to know her. For he had is own fair share of secrets and wondered the horrors she must have experienced.

Maeve must find it in herself to open her heart up to Silus. The years of dominance and control has caused her to be closed off and alone. But for some reason - she wanted to tell him all of her secrets.
