14 year old Nori has recently moved to Egypt. She wins a free tour around the famous places, but the tour guide hands her an amulet... an amulet that has been cursed! As Nori goes around the tour, she finds many troubles, dangers and lots more!

After a faulty ritual on her twelfth birthday destroyed her life and shattered her memories, Soojin began running and never stopped. The only clue as to what happened is a gift her parents gave her as a child, and the promise that came with it. A wooden pendant with the power to summon a "friend" the day she turned twelve. Someone she is still waiting to meet... and trying desperately to find. It doesn't take long for Soojin to realize that this person is only one thread in a larger web, and that pulling it will begin to unravel the truth of what happened all those years ago. Her parents' promise wasn't the only one she carried from that day, either. Something else made a promise to her too... the same thing that's been chasing her, and the reason that she's running. Yugi, a young boy who was a servant for the royal family in Egypt, had stumbled upon the young prince with one of his teachers in the garden. Yugi was not allowed to befriend or speak with Atem unless asked or forced to. One day, Yugi was playing with some of the other servant kids until the young prince and his friend Mana were out in the field kicking some rocks. The young servant had not realized on how much he and the prince looked alike, the only 2 differences were that Yugi was way more paler and was not royal. Yugi had somehow gotten hurt, and this is where the relationship began. As his "friends" left him because they could not handle the crying, the caring prince and his friend rushed over to his aid. The servant just thought they'd help so none of their 'slaves' would be harmed and could continue working but that's not how Atem saw it. Later on things had happened to where the prince had ordered his father to keep Yugi in the palace, so the two grew up together until war began. For 3 years Atem had left..
