"Isn't it always complicated?" I ask her as she just looks at me and shakes her head.
"I don't know, I guess so?" I laugh at her confused expression and her way of answering me with another question.
Melinda and Davin are that couple you root for until the end, you pray they make it last. You hope that as complex as they are, they make it. But they're not your favorite couple in a rom-com, or the two complicated people that make it until the end of the trilogy. In my case my 'power couple' wasn't even dating. Melinda and Davin are not your typical anything, except typical teenagers.

He's smart but acts like he's the greatest and he tries to impress her but she can hardly be impressed by things she can do.
