"You don't exist."
23 year old Rose-Mari Thorne has grown up in a small town, where hardly anything ever happens. A normal young woman with spirit and a fiery temper.
Except for one thing:
She can see things that shouldn't be there.
"None of you are supposed to exist!"
She's seen them all of her life, but she still denies the fact that THEY could ever exist.
But how long can you deny something when it comes to destroy you and everything you've ever known?
What if you have to rely on someone (or someTHING) that you've strongly believed never existed?
Everything you thought you knew of the preternatural has changed.
Forever.

Before the war, Vivian Becker was defined by the mundane beauty of her life: the laughter shared with friends over weekend drinks, the diligent hours spent poring over textbooks, the comforting predictability of a life lived strictly "by the book." Her first year of university should have been a rite of passage, but instead, it became a crucible that utterly consumed her. The unfolding crisis stripped her bare, tearing away her family, her home, and every last shred of the innocent world she knew. Lieutenant Abel Palmer, on the other hand, had never known such normalcy. His reality was one of perpetual twilight, leading clandestine operations against the monstrous 'echoes' of the war - the grotesque, unknown creatures born from twisted science. A hardened veteran, he was accustomed to dealing with threats, not feeling. Yet, his detached professionalism shattered when his new squad member arrived. She was small, yes, but her spirit was an inferno. Vivian Becker, the girl who lost everything, was finally the one who could challenge the unshakable Lieutenant Palmer. He'd met his match. Now, a world-ending mission looms, demanding their absolute focus. But the burgeoning, undeniable feelings between Abel and Vivian threaten to complicate everything. As their professional boundaries blur, a deeper question emerges: In their desperate pursuit to save humanity, will their growing bond be a strength? Or will their shared, burning desire for revenge consume them, forcing them to choose between global salvation and personal retribution?

*Book #1 In The Crashing Series* A long time ago, people used to think that Earth would be taken over by aliens. That we would all be destroyed from their advanced technology and uncaring demeanor towards Earthlings and our entire mass population in general. That we would be picked off like mice in a locked maze, all fighting to save ourselves, all trying to get to the cheese that was freedom. But we didn't know that the only thing that would destroy us would inevitably be ourselves. We didn't know that our planet was dying before our very eyes and our countries were at constant war with each other, each fighting for more power. More money. More everything. We didn't know....Until it was too late. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Set in the year 2655, Earth has been completely demolished by poverty, famine and war, leaving nothing behind but a handful of survivors and most of the population relocated to space stations. Onboard the Celestial, one of the main stations in the galaxies, is 21 year old Mabel "Mae" Minerva. Forced to board the Celestial as a child many years ago along with her younger sister, Mae has always felt out of place in the galaxy, always preferring to spend her time rebuilding old space equipment then seeking the company of other humans. Though when a rumor is spread that her mother may be alive back on Earth, Mae springs into action to steal an armored spacecraft in hopes to save her mother from an unnatural death back on Earth. But when her miscalculations and malfunctioning ship takes her off course, she crash lands on a planet deemed to be uninhabitable. Until she meets an alien who burns hotter then the sun and who knows too much, and too little, about her kind.

Moon and Sunset (Short Story)

7 parts Complete

She's mesmerized by the beauty of the moon, but she also needs to see the beauty of the sunset. "Sunset is breathtaking, right?" Rose said while looking intently at sunset. "No, the moon is much more beautiful than the sunset." Rachel said it while looking at Rose. * "No, please. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me, Rose." she's saying it while her knees are on the ground and holding her hands. "Let me go. I don't want to see you right now, Rachel," she said while looking at the sunset and silently crying. Unti-unti, bumibitaw siya sa mga kamay ni Rachel at tumalikod na pilit pinapatatag ang kaniyang nararamdaman. On the other hand, Rachel is looking at the sunset habang ang buwan ay unti-unti nang nagpapakita. Dito, hindi niya maiitanggi na mas nagustuhan niya pa rin ang buwan kaysa sa sunset. "Hindi ko talaga gusto ang sunset." she cried again while looking in the direction where she couldn't see Rose anymore.
