Dylan McBride never thought of becoming a weapon. After a day of vigorous cheer practices, Dylan finds out she has a ability that none of her other peers have, weapon transformation. Her cousin, Rocky, as her secretly planned meister, she finds out she has many secrets in the McBride family who has been loyal Weapons and Meisters for over a century.

Dylan is quickly scurried off to the middle of nowhere, or as it's really called, Death City. She must become accustomed to living on the other side of the country, eating Kishin souls, and most of all, new friendship and the brink of war.
