The war is over. Voldemort is gone. And things can finally be back to normal, or so Hermione thinks. So when she and her friends go back to Hogwarts for their seventh and final year, Hermione is determined to make this year the best one yet. And so far, things have been looking in her favor. She's back among friends, she doesn't have to worry about being harassed by Death Eaters, and to top it all off, she's Head Girl as well! Things just couldn't be better, until she finds out that the Head Boy is none other than Draco Malfoy, her childhood enemy and ex-Death Eater. And they have to share a dorm, too!
But there's something different about this new Draco Malfoy. He seems genuinely concerned about things, and doesn't even call Hermione a Mudblood anymore. Hermione still doesn't trust him though, and neither do her friends, until one day when Draco Malfoy saves her life, and Hermione finally realizes she's falling for the pale blond Slytherin. But does he love her back? And how will her friends react?
As Hermione deals with her love life, a rumor is circulating through the Wizarding world, terrifying all who heard it. It spoke of the impossible: The Dark Lord had risen yet again! And he's heard a prophecy, one that spoke of a Gryffindor with no magical lineage bringing his final, permanent downfall. Who is this Gryffindor? You guessed it: Hermione Granger.
Now Voldemort is on the move, determined to do whatever it takes in order to ensure his seat of power. How will Hermione and her friends survive this onslaught? No one knows, but one thing's for sure: it won't be an easy year.
Follow the Gryffindor Princess and the Prince of Slytherin House on a twisting, turning adventure of love and hate, as they discover the forgiveness in new beginnings.
"It's a date, Granger," he winked just as he disappeared under his Disillusionment Charm, leaving her in a state of elation combined with panic. Apparently, he finally thought they were ready to move forward.
-from chapter 4: "Relationship with him"
After the war, Hermione returns to Hogwarts, this time without Harry and Ron. A broken friendship and a failed opportunity for love between Hermione and Ron lead her to give the opportunity to someone else.
For the eighth time, Draco, a reformed Death Eater, is coming to Hogwarts. Without friends around him, he is forced to give the chance to someone else.
When Hermione arrived at Hogwarts, she didn't expect to feel so at ease when paired with Draco for potions. But what happens when Hermione plans to be better than Draco in potions? Will her way work? Even if they get a new chance, love will demand everything from them.
I don't own Harry Potter; it's all J.K. Rowling.
