Beck is a faery prince with a low opinion of humans, which is unfortunate because he is sentenced to live as a human for one year as punishment for a scavenger hunt gone terribly wrong. Ernie is an Eradicator, a human trained to terminate any creature with magic, but just can't bring herself to kill. She's also haunted by memories of a vampire who promised to return for her. The first time these two met didn't go so well. Or the second. 

This is a story in progress and I encourage feedback on character developement as well as ideas for plot direction. If I use your idea in the finished product, I'll credit you in the acknowledgement section of the book as well as give you a free, autographed copy of the paper back. He pulled her wrist, causing her to fall in his embrace and he whispered in her ear softly. "No matter what you are or who you are, I will not let you leave my sight, not even for one second! The faery isn't too happy about her house being gone, now that her house is in pieces, Christopher has to give her a home until he can find her a new one, where no one will cut it down like he did.

This is now being rewritten as this was just to put the building blocks of the plot down. When demons destroy the Kingdom of Celestine the Knight named Lloyd know the only way to stop them is to find The Grand Grimoire. He would need help of the fey folk who resided in the continent sized forest of foreboding, but saddled with a arrogant Prince who didn't know how to control his barbed tongue would any of the fey be willing to help them. The answer comes in a elfin mercenary Hodge who helps them recruit a group of fey misfits, now if only the Prince will keep his mouth shut.
