This is about Herobrine's life. This isn't a normal Herobrine story because Herobrine is actually a good guy in this, he's just thought of as evil. KEY: (()) means OOC(out of character, meaning it's not in the actual book but I put it in there as a note to the readers of this thread. Basically, OOC things are invisible to Steve and Herobrine didn't write them) if it's in () it isn't OOC and it's written by Herobrine. Anyway, time to get to the story.

As you are exploring a cave, you notice a small, old and damaged journal beside a large, rotting chest full of polished diamonds. It has the name, "Herobrine" scratched onto the front. You begin to read it.
"To you, the reader: If you have found this, you are Steve. I have chosen you to read this and show others it. I am Herobrine, as you should know already from the cover. You still think I'm evil, don't you? Well, I am not. If you aren't the stubborn idiot I suspect you are, you will read this journal and find out who I really am.

Casually, she participates in the app's trial run but finds herself immersed in the empathic conversations with her customizable virtual boyfriend, Ecto. In a society both connected and alienated by technology, Kate suspects an actual secret admirer is behind Ecto. Could it be the work of the techie student council president Dion or has Kate really found her soulmate in bits of computer code?
