Now, I won't say that I had anything to do with the infiltration of our so-called top-secret underground base, or the destruction of half our networks across the States of England, but I will say, that when provoked, Assassins do not brush it off like an annoying flea. So perhaps the fact that our base was attacked, I was stabbed, and sent back in time to prevent two major deaths, was in fact my fault.

When Abstergo Industries was attacked, I was given the job of taking the Apple of Eden to a safe place to avoid it falling into the hands of the Assassins. Until I was stabbed, fell to my death, and ended up in Boston two hundred years before I was born - give or take a few.

The Apple sent me to the Revolutionary war to fix things. Turns out, England wasn't supposed to win the war. That's where I met Connor Kenway, an Assassin. My name is Alexandra Frye, and I'm a Templar.

Disclaimer: I do not own Assassins Creed :)
I also do not own any of the quotes, pictures, or videos. (The cover is mine though)

1868, London. We are in the era of Queen Victoria's reign and the Industrial Revolution. The protagonist of the story is Adaline Lanchester, the only child of a British noble family. Adaline is different from the young ladies around her. Since her childhood, she finds joy in playing the piano and reading the yellowed pages of the books, but her gray days change forever when she meets a mysterious man called Jacob Frye at a ball organized in honor of the queen. By the passing of time, their romance is blossoming more and more, but Adaline makes enemies as well. Soon, the man she fell in love with reveals his true identity to Adaline and he does not hide anymore the fact that he is fighting for the freedom of London. Furthermore, Jacob tells the woman that the blood of crooks sticks to his hands, he tells about the Assassin Brotherhood and the Templar Order that threatens the city. However, that's not all, because soon it turns out that Adaline is not the fragile woman that so many people think she is. What's more, the blood in her veins is a heritage of the past and the threads of this heritage are traced all the way back to the Renaissance Italy... Pain. I didn't know the actual feeling until now. With pain came the emotional experience of hatred and love. None of it did I think I'd actually get to feel pulsing through my blood. The war has begun, it always has been. Now that I've lost people I've loved, I will make them pay. Pay for the lives they've taken and lost. Pay for what they've done. I have people to protect, people to love, and people to enjoy. Now that others have messed with those people, I will kill what stands in my way. Merrick, Hesh, Logan, Kick....all of them. The Federation and my betrayal of a brother will be with them too, all buried in a grave. And I swear by the end of this day, there will finally be a victor. ~~~ Hailey has lost her mind. Everything that once was, is now gone. After the disasters just a year ago, she changed. She left. The Ghosts are alone now and seem more lost than ever before. Without Hailey, they fear, nothing will be won....only lost- especially with a dark, dangerous shadow ready to strike and take back what's theirs. (The Triumvirate Histories Book Three) What do you call the girl who gets on a jet with the supposed enemy rather than one that would have taken her normal, not so dangerous life in New York? A traitor to the people who call her family, betraying them to the people they'd called the enemy for centuries. Now, add a woman who had almost successfully killed you just a few months before, though had turned extremely nice and even protective, and her nephew who looks at you with an expression you want to just slap right off his face? The two people who supposedly had a plan that would pretty much make you disappear off the face of the earth. And what happens when that plan completely breaks the heart of the man you love, even if it works perfectly? You shatter your own in the process...which you think you deserve for doing it to him and everyone else who loves you. Anyone who hears my story might think I'm a traitor, but I'm not...no matter how much I feel like I am. I was going off with the Knights learn more about their side of the story. Being with them, I knew it was going to change me, too. They were the fighters, the protectors of the Brotherhood, even though they thought they were out to destroy them. And I was going to protect them now, too. According to the reports, the Order wasn't hiding out anymore. They were on the move, infiltrating giant corporations and governments of wealthy, powerful countries. We were going to try everything to stop them and their ambitions of molding and controlling the future in their favor. And how could I forget the inside, the one who was telling all the Brotherhood's secrets, even if the Knights had already known them? But before I could do that, I had to disappear, make sure that no one came to look for me...and that involved breaking the hearts of my family, friends...and, most importantly, John. His heart had been broken so many times in his life...but now I was going to shatter it.
