Eva is a 14 year old girl with cancer. Acute Lymphocytic leukemia to be exact. Even though most people with this type of cancer survives, she never knows how her body is going to react to the treatment. Her body has a tendency to reject the chemo. Doctors are trying everything they can to try and help Eva.      She's been losing hope over the past year. She's gotten a lot worse. The only thing that's helping her, is the video diaries she makes everyday.    She's been cooped up in a hospital room since her body rejected the first round of chemo.   Besides her mom she only has one friend. Nurse Harry. A 25 year old male nurse that every female nurse has a crush on.   Eva has a few hobbies to pass by the time. She loves to read and draw. But her favorite thing to do is to make video diaries. She loves to talk in front of a camera. If you were to ask her why she enjoys it, she would simply shrug her dainty shoulders and smile.    Tobi is the son of a wealthy businessman. Some would say he's a spoiled brat and others would agree. Tobi has trouble letting people in, so naturally he has only a handful of friends. Which are also children of rich people. They aren't even true friends to Tobi. Hell, he can barely stand them, but he needs the company.    Eva's mom, Maria Bradley, is working overtime with 3 jobs to pay for her beloved Eva's treatments (that never seem to work). After getting fired from her highest paying job, due to budget cuts. Anybody Jordan loves gets hurt. He believes he is a curse to everyone he meets and that's why he pushes himself away from anyone who tries to get close to him. He isolates himself, becomes a loner and tries so hard to please everyone around him. Especially his parents who might never forgive him for causing his sister's death. He has to keep playing basketball. He's so good at it. He's now well known around the country and scouts are keeping their eyes on him. He's kind of a celebrity now and his parents are loving him more than they ever did. He's relieved. He's doing something right for once. But he doesn't want to play basketball. He wants to take pictures. The beauty of the world draws him in more than anything else has. He wants to capture this beauty through the lens of a camera. This is what he wants to do with his life. Unfortunately, he doesn't dare to think that way. Until he meets Star. A brave, charming, sarcastic, music obsessed girl who steals his heart at first glance. He doesn't want to get close to people but why is he letting his guard down for her? Is he making a big mistake by letting her into his heart, into his life? Only a few minutes with her and he decides that it's a risk he's willing to take.

From his parents leaving him , his grandma being sick, he has to sell drugs with his brother just to make a living. He's never been taught how to love or trust, never had friends because he believed he didn't need them. He's never talked to other kids except to sell drugs. He believes they only use him for their own benefit. He hates meeting anybody new or letting them get too close. That's why him and Marilla get off on the wrong foot. He gets confused when he catches himself slowly letting his guard down for her. He see's how care free she is and he hates her. He hates how he likes her for it. He hates how she makes him feel like no girl ever has. But he knew they couldn't be together. She was too good for him, too innocent, too sweet. He didn't want to ruin that. Marilla had a hard life. Some would say harder than ash's but she didn't like to compare or bring up her hard past. People see where she lives, her parents, her clothes, all her stuff and immediately think her life is perfect. It never was though. Her mom had left her and her dad for 5 years. The stress made her dad turn into a huge drug user and alcoholic. He would abuse her when she wouldn't give him her money for drugs or just simply hit her when he wanted to. The addiction got so bad he would start selling her body for money to get drugs . Her mom heard about it and went to get her. Marilla now lives with her mom and her boyfriend in the rich side of town. She's shy but she's known for her outburst and anger. But things aren't what they seem in the inside. Her mom abuses her. Mostly mentally but sometimes physically. Her mom makes her thinks she's incapable of love until she meets ash. He changed her perspective of herself and helps her through the hard times. "I like you. I always have." "No you don't. You can't. You're lying."

Put together a man with a bounty on his head, a woman with too much to lose, throw in a healthy dose of trauma, teenagers, toddlers, sharing a bed with a stranger and you're bound to have a royal mess. Let's not forget the most important part, they can't fall for each other because that just takes the stakes up, you don't just wake up and get attracted to an assassin so you can be used as mafia bait, basically destined not to work. That's what this is, a mess that shouldn't work. But it does. And everything goes to shit because of it. A story about love, assassination, family and healing from trauma.

Her mom works night shifts and sleeps during the day. Rhiya has two ROD's who she can always count on, but they also manage to get her into some trouble. Rhiya is assigned community service where she meets the boy who changes her entire life. More friends, more fame, more relationships, and more enemies. MATTIA isn't a rule breaker. However, he has a smart mouth and doesn't know when to shut it. He says what's on his mind, or just says what will help him win an argument. He doesn't think about how what he says could affect him or someone else. He lives near Rhiya, but has never noticed her. He's always been in his own world, especially after gaining a bunch of followers on TikTok, Instagram, and other social media. He lands himself in community service, which wasn't a surprise for some of the people that know him, but it also was. He ends up trying to get with someone, just to get his mind off of things, but he realizes Rhiya isn't going to be that easy to get.
