Jarod is the headstrong alpha of the silverstone pack. Strong, fast, and loyal he leads one of the well known strongest packs in North America. While on patrol he catches the most amazing sent he's ever smelt before. Coming across the sent he realizes the sent belonged to a rogue. Refusing to accept the heartless creature as his mate, he orders his men to bring her to the pack house so he can question her. No one realizes the power she posses nor who she is.

Questions form and Jarod doesn't know if he can trust a rogue to keep his pack safe but he can't trust himself with their bond growing stronger each day.

He can't deny the bond, but for the sake of his pack, he can't trust her around his people... Most of all his heart.

Emily is quiet... Literally. She can't talk using her mouth so she communicates telepathy. After loosing her family and pack members to a vampire attack, she was forced to retreat to Alaska. All she's ever known was honesty and love both of which will put her to the test when she meets the alpha. Emily must convince Jarod that she'll stand beside him and his pack till the end. The only problem is...She's a rogue. How can she convince him that she would sacrifice her life for his pack even though she can't physically talk?

Join Emily and Jarod on their journey of learning to trust and love while facing the challenge of accepting each other as mates. Tears will be shed and hearts will be broken, but the one power that posses all is the power of the love of mates.
