Laken (pronounced Lake en) Woods just moved in with her Aunt Jena and Uncle Troy who live in Olathe Kansas after her parents died in a fatal car accident while her 5 older brothers are in college or married leaving her to survive high school on her own. She try's to go unseen at school but considering her gorgeous looks, toughness, and the amazing ability to make amazing comebacks to everything it doesn't work. When she snaps at the schools bad boy, Boston Smith, he is determined to make her his girlfriend to dump her and humiliate her like she did to him she always rejects him. But what if he has to live with them for the rest of the year while his parents are in Africa and he truly develops feelings towards her but refuses not to humiliate her.
