Kids with different stories come together in an emotional journey to overcome they're differences and face life as Outcasts. Zoe has been going through suicidal thoughts ever since her mom was taken to jail for possession of drugs and her dad left. Skyler and Tamr were always made fun of for being gay and transgender. Jay is a runaway because of his father beating him almost to death everyday, while Noah took him in and let him stay at his house. Noah was bullied for not being like everyone else and being known as a geek. Hayden got into drugs when he was 13 and could never get off them.
