In an indeterminate point in Earth's future, the world is shattered and falling apart around humanity's ears. Natural disasters rip across the planet's surface, stealing the life from anything they touch and deadly rays from the sun pierce the weakened ozone layer to fry those that once looked to them for life and light. The world is ending, and everyone knows it.

And yet, humanity continues to survive.

When much of the world was lost to the elements, what was left of humanity flocked together to construct what would later come to be known as Fortresses*; super cities sheltered by an impregnable dome covering from the hazardous weather conditions outside. And there they remained for years, biding their time until something, anything really, told them whether they were meant to live...or die.

Ayliu Sadelle is a survivor within Alpha Fortress alongside her brother and sister. Born and raised within the Fortress as one of the younger generations, her parents were lost to a tragic accident within the dome years earlier and left her as a joint caretaker of her siblings alongside her aunt. Fully resigned to her life, tragedy reveals that it has yet another card to play when Ayliu is suddenly whisked away to a world that is not her own in a bizarre accident.

A world that is full of life and mystery and not the wasteland she had been taught the world had become. Journey alongside Ayliu in this mad attempt to blend together the realms of science fiction and fantasy as she tries to uncover the mystery of this new world and the implications it might hold for the world she left behind.**
