Brooke Guilbert and Willow Ruben have never known what it's like to have a normal life. Their parents were brutally murdered at age three and they were sent to live in a foster home with an abusive foster mother. Over the years, their friends who were also in the foster home got adopted, but they never did, which only made the beatings worse. One day, Brooke and Willow decide they've had enough and run away. They end up at Warped Tour, where they listen to a band called Pierce the Veil play. But when their foster mother finds them and decides it's a good time to punish them in public, Vic Fuentes, the lead singer, decides that that's not okay. What happens when Pierce the Veil takes cares of that situation in not the most legal way and is found taking care of the two girls, and getting closer than they expected they would?
