Lane has a problem with his brain. He hears colors. The senses he feels get confused and they crash together. Some days, he can barely get out of bed. Others he can't go to sleep. He drums, but too much will send him into panic. Terrible how the one thing he finds normal about himself can be too much at times. Violet is a music junkie. She has pretty much every record ever made on vinyl and she knows talent when she sees it. Violet has OCD. It's not as major as most people, but she struggles. Like when she gets coffee and she has to make sure that she stirs it nine times to fully get the cream mixed. Just little things like that. But music makes her forget that she has a fucked up brain. She is the synthesis of both sound and sight to Lane's composition and he's never met someone with a color for a name before.
