First and Third Generation Dragon Slayers don't die, they become reincarnated, and although the other Dragon Slayers don't remember their past lives, it seems Aspen is starting to remember bits and pieces, but the first thing she can remember is her life 400 years ago and it is the only life she can fully remember. Why does she only remember this life fully? Why don't Dragon Slayers pass on? Why is it all coming back now?
