Aspen, a Nature Dragon slayer, raised by Mother Nature knows what is unknown to most of the world... First and Third Generation Dragon Slayers don't die, they become reincarnated, and although the other Dragon Slayers don't remember their past lives, it seems Aspen is starting to remember bits and pieces, but the first thing she can remember is her life 400 years ago and it is the only life she can fully remember. Why does she only remember this life fully? Why don't Dragon Slayers pass on? Why is it all coming back now?

"Natsu, you make me happy. And I don't know how I could've gotten through this week without you. Even with me not being able to speak you didn't plead with me to get me to talk or force me to talk. It made me love you even more for that." I paused for a moment, feeling the lump in my throat form, signaling that I was going to cry again. I took a shaky breath and looked at him with pleading eyes. "I don't know how I'm going to get through how ever long it is until I see you again. Please convince your parents to come with me! Please Natsu!" After Lucy and Natsu had just confessed their love for each other. Lucy finds out that her parents pass away in a fatal car accident. A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband. Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu. What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works? Will their love blossom as quickly as when they were twelve? Or will they never be meant to be with each other ever again. [BOOK 1: THE GRAND MAGIC GAMES] Published: [05/03/2017] Completed: [22/09/2017] HIGHEST RANKINGS: #2 in Assassin [04/12/2018] #19 in Anime [24/11/2018] #37 in Fairy Tail [23/11/2018] Warning: I know a lot of you are in this for the ships, so I'll let you know right now -- there isn't really any romance until the final two parts of the story (and no, Rose x Rogue is not a thing, lol... they're both so emo and socially awkward, it'd never work out XD). Also... Rose's character was created by my thirteen-year-old self. So please don't come at me about her edginess and her background, because this is just what my younger self thought would make a good novel ;-; cynical (adj); believing that people are motivated purely by self-interest, distrustful of human sincerity. [... description...] Rose is a phoenix slayer, living a quiet life in the shadow of the great guilds. In comparison to her turbulent past, life now is fairly calm. Exploring the kingdom, experiencing new things, avoiding humans... all those normal things. When Rose is coerced into joining Fairy Tail by her partner, she doesn't realise what it is she's getting into. It was only supposed to be a month or two at most. Just enough to prove that guilds and their like were never worth the trouble. But... Fairy Tail, Rose learns, is different. Different to anything she'd experienced in her past. Different enough that, maybe, she'd change. Maybe, she'd let go of her past, and strive to protect the future she's found with her new guildmates. The question is, does she? --- Disclaimer: Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima. All characters besides the OC(s) are owned by him.
