Urban fiction and non fiction about a group of teens living in a city filled with gangs, drugs, backstabbers, lowkey haters, and everything else that fills your mind when you think of "urban high school". Janelle, Leonah, and Armoni are three best friends that are very ready to start off the school year together but little do they know they're walking in blind to what happens within 9 months. While Lo, Tre, and Jeremiah, Taylor have no worries. They are what you call squad, you mess with one you mess with all. At East Heights High School, anything can happen and you'll never know what can happen one minute to the next. Hopefully they can deal with what's thrown at them, because in this small town and at this school, you gotta get with the punches or you're done for. Everybody knows everyone, and its always best to just stay to yourself because everyone's business can spread like wild fire.

Shortly after Billie meets an arrogant, vain and irresponsible bad ass and dislikes him but the more and more time she spends time with the school's biggest trouble maker she develops feelings and falls for his charm. Only to find out a few weeks later after it's too late to go back that his little sister also attends the school and happens to be Billie's new best friend..
