The dystopian side, asks for help. but of course, the people they ask think they're animals. Most stories like this, they're successful. But how do we know that?

Resa: a story set in the world of 'the Balance'
It is Resa's birthday and she is 54 years old. She has one year left until she goes over and she has been perfectly happy for the past 37 years, never questioning whether or not she loves her husband or even likes her children. But now she does. She has heard that some run but most, pretty much all, just go over. They go peacefully but Resa cannot believe they go happily. Older than her husband, she must go alone. The Shelter
No one really knew how X's came to be. One day there weren't any, the next day half the population was wiped out. All Karma knew was that they are technological monsters, fit to be the world's biggest weapon, after the splitting particle ray which could reduce any person into air particles in a millisecond. Karma realised how simple it would be to destroy an army even with one X. They were practically indestructible, perfect killing machines, only they'd turned on the government, apparently. Or maybe those bastards had escaped perfectly unharmed, watching how the country was being destroyed. Maybe it was an excuse for overpopulation. xx-xx Karma has been trying to survive for over a year, but it's difficult when X's, mechanical killing machines, roam the streets, hungry for human flesh. Every day that passes by without finding a portal brings the morale lower. They need to escape the country before they all end up dead. It doesn't help that the X's have changed their tactics and are now manipulating people to commit suicide. The death rate keeps increasing, and Karma has to find out what family means, and to what extremes she would go to save the ones she loves.Complete

In a dark and gloomy world, a chance of hope stands on the edge of challenge for our characters. How much will they bleed? How much would they give?
MORITURI: Those About to Die
Man is born with two fears, and two fears only; the fear of falling and the fear of loud noises. Then they learn to fear each other, and rightfully so. Morituri follows a paramilitary group of survivors trying to restore order after a biological attack ravaged the US, turning man against man, and causing mass bloodshed across the world. But there's something, some one, in their midst that may be more dangerous to them than the virus itself. Throughout history, civilizations have prophesied of cataclysmic events that would wipe out the races of man. Modern movies and conspiracy theorists have for years warned of an apocalypse on the horizon, be it a war or economic collapse, or a spill of biological waste that contaminates and eradicates the populous. So engrained are we that there IS an apocalypse coming, a term has been devised for those getting ready to protect themselves and their families with any means necessary during this time. Preppers. Follow the preppers. And pray. There is something coming. Where do you fit in to the apocalypse? Are you the reason it's coming? Will it be your mistake? Or are you the one trying to save everyone else when it happens? Could you fight if you had to; could you kill? Look to Morituri. Find yourself in it. Because you're already there. We're all already there... Enter their world if you dare, but take with you your wits and any training you received in the military; you're going to need it. Everything started wen an expedition went wrong in taiga, one of the biggest forests that covers 10% of the Earths ground passing through the far northern reaches of Europe, Asia, and North America. Is the human Race safe? Are vampires really the beautiful, dangerous creatures all teen movies showed or just "zombies" wanting chaos, flesh and blood?Complete
