There'd either be blood and death, or a union between two clans. What nobody knew was that there was a third outcome... A mixture of the first two! Well, the second part is a little iffy. To be fair, it was justified. Being taken by ROOT at a young age, only to be saved right before the clan was massacred, it made sense Sasuke was a bit protective of Ava.
