The Preacher And The Gay

John Sulton was the poster boy for a young southern gentleman. He was smart, musically inclined, handsome, kind, a track athlete, and contained a bright future. With his father being the preacher of a large Church of Christ, his future of being a powerful "Hell Fire and Brimstone" evangelist was confirmed. Coming from a small heavily christian town, everybody only encouraged him to pursue his desire of preaching and teaching the gospel.

However, one night nearly ends up in disaster and changes his life forever. Max, his best friend nearly kills himself after being driven to the point of no hope, after telling his parents he has feelings for men.

John narrowly saves his childhood friend, but captures his heart also. What will happen when John tries to console his best friend, but also make him realize they have no future. Also will John be able to shield his friend from the hatred that is bound to ensue from the town. How far and how much will he put on the line for one soul.
