Over 6,000 years ago the Kindergartens were created. Rose Quartz rebellion included the shutdown of the Kindergartens, but she did not kill incubating gems in the hopes of new allies and new friends. This is the story of the gems left behind in the shadows of the echoing canyon walls. How they survived and what happened to them.

What if Steven wasn't the only hybrid ever born? What if, there was one before him? A little girl. Maybe, the birth of this little girl, was why Rose knew she had to give up her physical form to create him? And maybe, the girl's mother was a close friend of Rose. Both served under the same Diamond, both talked about rebelling before Rose finally took that first step, but the other stayed behind to relay Intel. What if this was Pink Pearl, a very important part of the Rebellion. And Pink Diamond's very own Pearl. The very same Pearl who fell in love with an artist named Nick Nightwood about 5,300 years after the war. This is the story of her daughter. This is the story, of Stella. None of the artwork that is used is mine. I do not own Steven Universe or the characters (except for Stella, her father, and some of the random people you've never seen in the show). Steven Universe belongs to Rebecca Sugar.
