She was lost in his gold-freckled eyes. When she looked at him, everything else seemed to fade away. Tonight he was showing her something magnificent. Something nobody in camp but Chiron knew of. He took her hands gently, not breaking their eye contact, and he squeezed them tightly before she felt a short wave of nausea hit her. He pulled her in close as wind started to whip her hair around and then, everything will still and peaceful. She opened her now closed eyes and looked around. They weren't in Camp Half-blood anymore, And this definitely wasn't the 21st century.

"You people were never meant to be here. If it wasn't for me." I cursed myself. It was the truth. "You didn't do anything." I looked at her straight. "Exactly. I did nothing to satisfy them. If only I'd show that I'd fight back and show them pain, like they wanted me to. But, I didn't."
