Danielle, or Danny, was perfectly happy in the abandoned car junkyard with her stolen clothes and stolen food. She collected little trinkets and unique items that interested her. Apparently, one of her trinkets was very valuable and someone tried to take it from her, unsuccessfully. Danny harshly refused to give it up, resulting in her getting kidnapped and dragged along for the ride. So much for the simple life.
