She looked at his furrowed eyebrows, trying to understand his expression. His stare was focused at her, his eyes boring into hers. And then suddenly, his lips were pressed against hers. Her first thought was that, yes, his lips definitely were as soft as she had thought. Only when he pulled away did she realize that he actually kissed her! "Well, Cloud, how's that for chemistry?" --- Claudia likes to believe herself tough. She's self-sustaining, has been for as long as she can remember. Now she has a stable and decent job, roof above her head, and a place to sleep every night, life seems to be getting better. She's all too ready to leave the past behind. Things start to get messy when she's forced to keep up pretenses and she slowly finds herself falling for her boss.
