She sees herself in the most wretched of ways, as most of us do at the age of 16. 

 "I'm way overweight"

 "Nobody really loves or cares about me"

 "Everyone leaves me to rot in the end"

 "I'm worthless"

 "I'll never do anything right"

 This is just a minor fraction of the weight she holds on her chest day in and day out, bringing me to my knees in sheer pain. I refuse to see what she sees. To me she is an angel. Nothing less than Godly. Her hair like autumn leaves. Eyes like glistening Amber gems, attracting even the slightest glances. Her curves exposing just how beautiful she really is. She is divine.

 Call me insane, but this young women is the love of my life, no second guessing it. My love for her is comparable to a rope. Love is made of multiple strands and can be long or short lived. And, of course, love ties you up completely. Love is a perfect symphony. Love is intoxicating. Love is unconditional. But most of all, love is a complete nightmare.
This is love as it is.
