Imagine a world where darkness is all you've ever known, where demons lurk inside every corner, and survival was everything. Sounds like something that came straight from a bad horror movie, right? But it's not.
Aurik has lived in this world since he could remember. Abducted and taken by a powerful demon to serve as his daughter's personal slave, Aurik never really knew anything of his previous life. All he remembers is light, and the sweet smell of the outdoors. In other words, the complete opposite of the one he lives in now.
Serving the demons daughter was a rather difficult task, but he managed. Aurik did what he was told, and never asked questions. Some words to describe the master's daughter? Arrogant, rude, and a complete brat. But when Aurik starts to feel attracted to this particularly beautiful demon, that's when things become a bit overwhelming for innocent Aurik.
