A third year after Neji Hyuga's disappearance begins to pass and rumors of peace among the five kages have started to spread from village to village. Naruto has returned from his training and is back in action, and it seems as if everyone is finally healing and moving on from the loss of the Hyuga.

But not all is as it seems.

Sasuke and Itachi have returned after the suspicious splitting of the Akatsuki, but the happy reunion Sakura and Naruto was expecting has gone completely south.

Sasuke joins Team Guy in an unexpected turn of events, and with his personality matching that of Neji's, Tenten begins to unravel and rip apart from the inside out.

Will she be able to keep her friendships together and heal her wounds, or will she let the past stop her from loving another?

Let me be the first to warn you: In this story, Neji is either dead or missing, and the couple/ship I'm focusing on the most in this book is SasuTen. If you do not like the couple, then that's fine, but this is the Canon continuation of "Dove and Orphan".

Welcome to the sequel of "The Tale of the Dove and the Orphan", part of the "Looking Through a Shinobi's Eyes" series.

For those reading this and not exactly understanding what went down, please refer to chapter thirteen, which is just the backstory told by Tenten.
