My name is Layice Perez. Not going to lie I have a bit of an anger issue. I also have purple eyes that aren't contacts and it really pisses me off when people say otherwise. They are my eyes not yours, shut up. Since money is tight I am fortunate enough to go live with my moms rich best friend and her cocky son. I have rules like don't insult my friends, don't insult my mom, and my personal favorite don't fall in love. I refuse to. Yet how come my heart beats faster every time I think of a certain some one. Or maybe two certain someone's. Yah I'm in deep, but who could love a girl like me? My father didn't, so why should anyone else?

Drayton Lahey is the bad boy quarterback from football royalty who's completely wrong for her; at least, that's what she tells herself. Sparks fly in all directions when Dallas and Dray are around each other, but the longer she tells herself she doesn't need him, the quicker she realizes it might be time to forget about what she needs-and go after what she wants.
