This summer is all about discovery for fifteen year old Emilia Mathews, but when you live a life like her, it's never normal. With a brother that's a shifter, and a best friend that's a vampire, where can a girl go wrong? Having planned to do normal things this summer, like celebrating her birthday,losing those last few pounds and just relaxing she's shocked by what actually happens.

 After meeting some strange man, discovering she's the heir to a kingdom, learning of her upcoming DEATH? and finding out she has a fiancé, life just took a upside down flop, on her face, and that doesn't even graze the surface.

Discovering you're not even human, your parents aren't really your parents, and you have to figure out how to rule one of the largest and most valuable kingdoms ever, Emilia has a lot on her plate. She just hopes she can get through it all.
