Maria Boughly was living a great life as a successful, happy model. 
That is, until the accident.
It changed her whole life... and career.
She can't stand the way people look at her now; their eyes full of pity. 
She moves away to NYC and gets plastic surgery to reconstruct her ravaged body and face.
Maria changes her name and career, but the stories return to haunt her when the media reveals that Maria had moved and changed her name. 
She has created a new life and was not willing to give it up because of the media. She wasn't surprised that they were looking for her; she was a famous model.
What will she do to fully become someone else?
Will she ever live a normal life?
