The ticking clocks have stopped. The blur of traffic stopped. The ringing and constant chatter have stopped. Pure dead silence. The heartbeats of others can be heard. It over roars the silence. But still everything has stopped. There is no movement, no sign of life. It's as the earth has frozen over. There is no words said, no words written, no words thought, but yet you can hear everything.

To Be Broken
What does it mean to be broken? (I wrote this poem myself) ______________________________ Why be sad? When no one knows how bad You feel your Pain makes you sore. Why be mad? When no one can tell How hard you fell How it hurts MORE than a tad. Why be happy? Be like all those sappy People pretending to be What they want you to see. Why be frightened? Senses heightened Screaming, As sick people are beaming. Why be tired? When no one knows How your wired How you grow. Why be honest? My Past Mate Rejected Me
"You rejected me!! Not the other way around!!" I yelled at him, tears streaming down my face. "I know." He says, he head hangs low. "And I'm sorry. I should never have rejected you." He went to take my hands into his but I turned away from him. Tears were still going down my face. How could he, after all this time, have the nerve to come here. He knew that he had hurt me.
