Anastasia Johnson was 8 years old when her parents died. After ten years in the foster system Anna is beginning her freshman year at Reed University and is ready to put her past behind her and make a fresh start. When mysterious things start happening around her, life gets even stranger than it was before. She is finally ready to leave the ghosts of her past behind but what happens when they aren't so ready to leave her behind.

The bright spots in her days only seem to come from Jake, the captain of the school's football team and certified campus royalty. It is as though ever girl in school would kill to have a chance with him but he only has eyes for Anna. As much as she cares for Jake, Anna can't fight her feelings for Dominic James, a gorgeous and mysterious man who also happens to be her professor.
